Honorary members

Honorary membership was created in November 1997 as a means of recognising the groundbreaking work of many Tarot practitioners both in Australia and overseas.

Honorary members of the Guild are admitted by invitation only on the basis of their status and outstanding contribution to the world of Tarot and to the Tarot Guild of Australia.

Honorary membership recognises the continued achievements of many practitioners. It focusses on those practitioners engaged in developing the scope and meaning of Tarot and bringing it into today's world.

No joining or subscription fees apply to Honorary members.

This membership is considered on an annual basis at the Annual General Meeting each year. Nominations for Honorary membership should be addressed to the President and should include a detailed explanation of why that person is being nominated. This should reach the President by early July so that the nomination can be considered at the AGM.
