Perth Workshop – Tarot as Tool for Personal Development – with Jean-Michel David

When I wrote Reading the Marseille Tarot, I was responding to ideas about Tarot’s historical development and its spiritual underpinnings.  What we have seen over the last 20 years is an increase in a variety of non-tarot sets, yet a deepening interest in tarot around the world, especially in Spanish and Slavic speaking countries.

How DOES tarot speak to us of human development?  I will present one method, focusing only on a few major arcana.

Jean-Michel David has been involved with tarot throughout his life.  He established Tarotpedia.com that, prior to its database collapse, was one of the most highly ranked websites in the world.  He has organised a number of conferences (including the 2005 International Tarot Conference), was a keynote speaker in Madrid two years ago for a Spanish speaking international Conference (with a translator!), and was due to present in Italy last year, cancelled along with much of life as we know it.
