Greetings to our members everywhere.
It is pleasing to see that progress is being made out of lockdown, with all States except Victoria. Those of us who live in Victoria are very pleased to see that our regional areas are also starting on the road to recovery. Hopefully Melbourne will soon have some of our restrictions lifted as well. We are all looking forward to a resumption of life in 2021.
Your Committee has been working very hard behind the scenes and we are thrilled that you all are so supportive of our new initiatives being our online presentations and interviews. It is heart warming to see some familiar faces joining in to view these events. We do understand that some members in Victoria are unable to come to our monthly meetings face-to-face due to the travelling time involved. We are so pleased that our online activities are now accessible not only to our regional Victorian members but also to members around Australia and Overseas. We are thrilled that you are tuning in.
If you were unable to be present in real time for my presentation “2020 Our Year of Judgement” you can access this in our online shop and Matthew Favaloro”s presentation on “Troubleshooting The Tarot” will be available to purchase later this month.
I have become more aware during 2020 and its pandemic consequences, that community is very important to us all. If we are unable to connect in person then connecting online is the next best thing. The Tarot Guild is intending to keep this online connection in place, even when we are able to resume face-to-face meetings.
Our Group in Perth is able to meet as normal and our Sydney Group is continuing to hold monthly meetings in a limited capacity. Brisbane is planning to return to face-to-face meetings in 2021, and hopefully Melbourne will be resuming their meetings in 2021 too. You will be able to see our upcoming events on our website, Facebook posts and our Membership Secretary will also send you an email notifying you of all online presentations.
“A great lesson is that the sacred is in the ordinary,
That it is to be found in one’s daily life, in one’s neighbours, friends and family,
In one’s backyard” – Abraham Maslow
Until we meet again,
