Tarot Unearthed
The mission of the Tarot Guild of Australia is “to promote knowledge of the Tarot, inspire excellence and professionalism in our members, and foster a supportive community of practice” and the TGA Committee believe that Tarot Unearthed is an initiative that allows The Guild to be totally aligned with its purpose, values and ethics.
This is actually a great idea gone wild! Initially suggested purely as a fundraising effort, the concept of putting together a Tarot Calendar quickly morphed into an Annual Arts Competition designed to highlight the outstanding work of Artists in the Tarot Community.
The 2023 Calendar
The TGA was delighted by the enthusiasm of the artists who were so willing to donate to this project. The shortlisted artworks not only include a broad range of art mediums and styles but also represent national and international artists from a diverse range of backgrounds, ages and career stages. Their generosity has enabled the TGA to provide a much wider experience of the Tarot and their visionary lens has been nothing short of inspiring.
