Manifesting Abundance with Your Tarot Cards

Yes, there really are certain Tarot cards that embody the energy of abundance in all of its forms. But what is abundance, how do we manifest it, and which of the 78 Tarot cards can we use to create our dream life? Let’s explore some of that here.

Firstly, what is abundance?

Abundance is having more than what is considered sufficient. It is having plenty of what you need, or want, regardless of whether that is food, fuel, finances, health, happiness, friendships, somewhere to live- whatever it is that you are wanting really.

A lack of abundance can create restriction, it can close down our minds, our motivation to reach and stretch. Lack can shut us down, and we can end up sitting on the couch watching soaps instead of getting out there amongst it. Not a great vision is it. So we want to have abundance.

Blocks to Abundance

Looking through my Smith-Waite deck, I noticed a number of cards that demonstrated both the mindset and the physical aspects of being blocked;

3 of Swords – heartbreak, grief or sadness
Both the 3 and 8 of Pentacles – hard work, trying to get it right over and over
9 of Swords – worry moves our energy inwards and halts movement forward
5 of Cups – depression can also halt a person in their tracks
4 of Pentacles – the physiology of holding on is demonstrated here and the results of that are a blockage of energy flowing from the universe down through the crown and heart centres as well as a disconnection from Mother Earth

What it Looks Like

Abundance is beautifully demonstrated by the following Tarot cards;

10 of Cups – happiness, family connection, emotional expansion
10 of Pentacles – physical and financial security combined with the benefits of a multi-generational family where wisdom can be shared from father to son
Sun – optimal health, fun in the sun, recognition and relationship
Wheel of Fortune – ease of movement and good fortune rolling your way
Star – emotional ease, comfort in one’s own skin, being seen and valued
World – perfect balance, completion of a project, the journey, ultimate success
Devil – incredible wealth
4 of Wands – working in alignment with another to achieve a set goal, partnership
Lovers – spiritual balance, a loving relationship
Magician – mental clarity, you have what you need in terms of skills and abilities

Which Cards Should I Use?

Deciding which Tarot cards to use to manifest your desires will be determined by what you want to achieve and what stands in your way. If its money you seek, then the pentacles cards will be very helpful. You can use the 10 of Pentacles to bring in the abundance, and you might want to use the King of Pentacles as well, for he demonstrates mastery in the area of money and values. Perhaps you could imagine being the King of Pentacles as a way to gain access to his knowledge and skills.

Abundance Tarot Spread

Perhaps the quickest and easiest way to get a handle on the whole manifestation of abundance with the Tarot cards is to do an actual Tarot spread, so here is one that should get you going;

On completion of the Abundance Tarot spread, keep your cards set out on your altar or a table somewhere that you can see them easily. Every day, review the cards, and be sure to keep the suggested mindset and emotional state that your reading suggests. Likewise, ensure that you take the action that is recommended, and perhaps most important of all, focus on card number 7 in the spread. This is the card that you can imagine as your reality, at least once or twice a day. See how it will be for you as you are moving towards abundance; visualise yourself moving forward, feel the feeling of that and start thinking of yourself as doing so. Walk and talk as that person. This creates incredible shifts that will take you in the direction of your hopes and dreams.
